Snowdonia holds a special place in my heart. I fell in love with this beautiful landscape on a school trip and have enjoyed coming back here ever since.
Covering a whopping 2,123 square kilometres, the Snowdonia National Park attracts thousands of visitors each year. People flock from miles away to tackle the highest peak in Wales, Mount Snowdon. The other mountains in the region hold their own challenges and the rest of the scenery is equally impressive. The longest zipline in the world, small towns like Betws-y-Coed and numerous water sports centres are just some of the other attractions in the region.
